Danette graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.Sc. degree in Environmental Science. After selling cars for BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, and Lexus, Danette moved to Whistler BC where she was the director of the Whistler Village Art Gallery and managed a fine dining restaurant.

She moved to Los Cabos in 2006, which sparked an avid interest in the real estate market. After purchasing two properties of her own here, she decided to move into real estate sales.
